Emmy-award winning journalist Kate Delaney has interviewed more than 12,000 people, including U.S. presidents, top CEOs and Hall of Fame athletes. As a woman hosting a popular sports radio talk show, she became a pioneer in broadcasting.
In addition to her popular speaking engagements around the nation, she currently hosts two nationally-syndicated radio shows each week. On NBC’s sports radio network, she hosts “The Kate Delaney Show” heard on 210 stations. She also hosts Forbes Books Radio. Traveling and speaking at top business conferences, conventions and seminars across the country to interview business professionals of all levels from CEOs and executive management to financial advisors, lawyers and entrepreneurs.
She’s the author of two popular books. Level the Playing Field (2011) and coming out this fall her Forbes book, Deal Your Own Destiny: How to Overcome Anything to Get What You Want.
A successful business owner, she’s most proud of working with the Texas Rangers baseball club on closing a $25 million radio rights deal for CBS radio when she worked as Executive Sports Director.
The speaker has served as a top keynoter for companies such as AT&T, Cisco, UPS and Exxon/Mobil. She’s covered 15 Super Bowls, 10 U.S. Opens and 15 Final Fours. She’s also eaten 14,873 lousy hot dogs while visiting all 32 major league ballparks.
